PT Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS IJ), the metal-mining unit of Indonesia’s biggest coal producer, PT Bumi Resources, fell 1.4 percent to 690 rupiah, the most in a week. Bumi Resource Minerals’ first-quarter net income declined to 138.5 billion rupiah ($16.2 million) from 271.3 billion rupiah a year earlier as gold and copper production at its affiliate PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara dropped, it said.
PT Buana Listya Tama (BULL IJ), a shipping company, gained 2.4 percent to 172 rupiah, advancing for a fourth day. Buana Listya’s first-quarter net income rose to 85.17 billion rupiah from 38.94 billion rupiah a year earlier, it said in a statement published in Investor Daily today.
PT Harum Energy (HRUM IJ), an Indonesian coal producer, lost 2.6 percent to 9,300 rupiah, the steepest decline since May 6. PT Karunia Bara Perkasa is seeking to raise up to $301 million from sale of shares in the company, according to a term sheet sent to investors. Karunia Bara is offering 270 million Harum Energy shares at 9,050 rupiah to 9,550 rupiah each, the terms show.
