ABM Investama Plans $300 Million IPO In October ; JAKARTA -(Dow Jones)- Coal miner PT ABM Investama plans to raise up to $300 million through an initial public offering in October, an official at one of the underwriters told Dow Jones Newswires on Wednesday.
The company, a unit of unlisted heavy equipment company PT Trakindo Utama, has named PT Mandiri Sekuritas and Macquarie Capital Securities Indonesia as joint lead underwriters for the IPO, the official who declined to be named said.
Indonesia Stock Exchange director Eddy Sugito said he had met with representatives from ABM Investama who had informed him of their plan to launch an IPO.
"They, however, didn't give any details to me," Sugito said.
The bourse has said ABM will join 12 other Indonesian companies that plan to go public later this year.
The government has said it expects the Indonesian economy to expand by 6.5% this year, compared with 6.1% in 2010.
